YouTube has become a daily earning platform for many creators. Influenced by these creators many new heads start uploading on YouTube. A new YouTube creator always tries to run after the views comparing that of the one who’s views are now in millions. Focusing more on views rather than content will never give you success in YouTube.

YouTube has changed its algorithm from last two years, which focuses more on watch-time rather than views. We all know there are many ways to get fake views on videos. To tackle this major issue YouTube has made changes and set their algorithm accordingly. YouTube says create an engaging content & earn more and that’s right because the advertiser would anytime like to show their ads on the content that is really engaging. Think yourself as a advertiser for a minute won’t you like to show your ads on the content where viewers are engaged. According to YouTube the videos with great watch-time are promoted and featured more on YouTube feeds rather than the videos with millions of views but poor watch-time.

I would like to talk with some proof as well. Check out the Post 1 below

Post 1

Here is the screenshot from one of my channel. The views for one of my video is 29.2 k which has generated only 78.79 rs, too many views and too less revenue, which doses not satisfies the heart of any creator. The reason behind this is the content isn’t that engaging.

Now have a look at Post 2

Post 2

Here the views are 3.3 k and the revenue generated is 58.65 rs. Can you see the difference . This is the clear indication from YouTube that no matter how many views you get we would help you earn good on the content that’s really engaging. YouTube algorithm is smart enough to understand the engaging videos.

Always focus on creating a good content, think of audience and not the views and the revenue, it would be ultimately generated when your content is engaging, which is a win win game for you for YouTube and the advertiser as well.
