The deadline is fast approaching to nominate in DigitalAgenda’s 2020 Impact Awards, recognising the best of UK tech for good. Now in their fourth year, there are twelve categories to nominate in, including new categories Impact Investor and Tech for Good Entrepreneur of the Year.

If you know anyone working on life-changing tech innovation, you only have until 29 November to nominate and help us recognise the very best in UK tech for good.

The tech-for-good awards programme, now in its fourth year, has become the UK’s leading celebration of technology innovations that improve lives and the world around us.

With 12 categories covering three broad themes of people, society and business ( ), the awards are open to any UK-operating business, government or non-profit using digital products or services for positive social or environmental impact.

Notable winners in our first three years have included Babylon Health , now powering the NHS GP at Hand scheme, and Bulb Energy, disrupting the sustainable energy market. Charities like Citizens Advice have also been recognised, along with investors like Bethnal Green Ventures .

The 2020 awards event will be on the 5th of March in London. Our awards ceremony, last year hosted by the BBC’s Naga Munchetty, will hear from winners alongside great guest speakers. The ceremony will be followed by an evening reception, giving winners a chance to celebrate, and all of our guests the chance to connect.

Judging takes place early next year, with finalists announced on the 30th January. All finalists will be entered into our people’s choice category, where the public will vote for their favourite UK tech for good venture of 2020.

Nominating a project for the Impact Awards is free and simple, and can be done via our dedicated website.

Our group of awards judges includes: Mike Bracken, Public Digital; Justin Cooke, Unicef UK; Jacqueline de Rojas CBE, techUK; Priya Guha, Merian Ventures; Caroline Hyde, Allia Future Business Centre; Daniel Korski, Public; Faiza Khan MBE, Paul Hamlyn Foundation; Paul Miller, Bethnal Green Ventures; Anna O’Brien, HSBC UK Bank plc; Umesh Pandya; Kate Sandle, B Lab UK; Annika Small OBE, CAST; Leigh Smyth, Tech Talent Charter; and Nigel Watson, Northumbrian Water Group.

Entries will be judged against five criteria: idea, product/service, team, scalability and impact. Read our entry guidelines here.
