2021 Next Top Blockchain Startup Competition
The XDB Foundation is proud to announce that it will be contributing to and supporting the Next Top Blockchain Startup competition. This event aims to enable young, aspiring blockchain and emerging technology entrepreneurs to present their ideas and connect with leading investors, executives and founders within the global blockchain industry.
“We’re very excited to offer new innovators the opportunity to develop their ideas and take a look at what their peers are doing. It’s a very promising time for blockchain startups and we hope an event like this will keep the ecosystem growing and attracting fresh talent,” said Michael Gord, the co-founder of The Next Top Blockchain Startup.
Event registration has opened for Summer 2021, click here for more details. Participants will pass through four stages of development for their respective projects:
- Ideation
- Brand Formation
- Concept Validation
- Proof-of-Concept
During this process, teams will have access to support via a number of community initiatives: weekly seminars, mentoring sessions, networking events, and workshops.
A summer wrap up will be held at the Crypto Convention Center in Decentraland on August 20, where the top 10 projects will be selected to compete in a pitch competition the following day, August 21. This competition will also take place in the Metaverse, and will be broadcasted online. Competitors will be vying for one of three spots, which will each receive up to $25 000 in funding and resources.
