In other words, a picture frame that can be loaded with different images or videos via an app. If you have pet fish, thanks to technology you can now purchase a self-feeding fish tank, or even a self-watering plant pot (for ultimate laziness). If you’ve forgotten what you put in the oven, advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) mean tech can now tell you what’s in the oven, and adjust the temperature accordingly. Ideal for germophobes, touching the filthy lid of your kitchen bin will soon be a thing of the past, as motion-sensor, self-opening bins are now available.

As time goes on and technology becomes more advanced, we’re likely to see more and more space-age products in our homes, making those ‘look to the future’ films seem even more realistic.
