Welcoming Arthur “Skip” Henderson, to DigitalDx Ventures
For more than a decade, our dynamic team at DigitalDx Ventures has successfully identified, nurtured, and helped build and scale some of the most impactful digital healthcare companies. As our team has grown, we’ve seen firsthand how the more varied our perspectives and experiences are, the better we are at serving our portfolio companies, the individuals who lead them, and the better equipped we are to help build companies that further the future of medicine.
Today, we are proud to announce the addition of a new team member, Arthur “Skip” Henderson.
“We are thrilled to welcome Skip to the DigitalDx family,” said Michele Colucci, Managing Partner at DigitalDx Ventures, who has known Skip for 30 years. “Skip is exactly the type of professional one would hope to find in a business partner. The depth of his experience on both the regulatory side as well as in the startup world of healthcare and AI-based analytics will serve DigitalDx well.”
At DigitalDx Ventures, Skip will help guide portfolio companies through regulatory issues, support the firm’s efforts to identify non-dilutive funding sources, introduce portfolio companies into large government agencies like the VA, CMS, DHA., and provide new sources of investments.
“I’ve been looking to create a solid relationship for our fund and portfolio companies with Washington, D.C., and Skip provides that critical connection,” said Colucci. “His talent and expertise in healthcare innovation, and navigating the healthcare regulatory environment is an exciting differentiator for us.”
Skip is a seasoned executive with years of experience designing and developing technology-based products and services. He is currently CEO of Affinity Networks, Inc., a systems integration firm delivering products and services to the healthcare, homeland security, and business sectors. As a recognized industry leader in the areas of healthcare I.T., patient engagement, telehealth, and mobile health, Skip adds immense value to the DigitalDx Ventures team. He was appointed to the CMS — ONC Federal Advisory Committee on Consumer Engagement, and the White House Champions of Change — Precision Medicine Working Group. A serial entrepreneur, Skip also gained valuable technology expertise at IBM, where he developed and managed command and control systems for nuclear submarines and implemented advanced systems for the Central Intelligence Agency.
