With the President of the United States Joe Biden unveiling his plan for a country-wide train system, I felt like now would be a good time to discuss how his plan may be executed. The picture below shows a map of what the new transportation system could look like.

This Railway system would give Americas access to the entire country at what I would assume is a lower price in comparison to planes. However, one problem may arise and that is the speed of the trains. Of course, they’d have to be extremely fast for it to be useful and worth riding in the first place. This brings me to the first innovation called the Hyper-loop.

The idea of the Hyperloop was unveiled by Elon Musk back in 2012, the theory of its usage is that it would be able to travel at the top speeds of 750mph, which is also much faster than commercial airplanes that usually fly up to 575mph. A train similar to this design should be one of the main selling points of this project, giving us access to more options on cross-country traveling other than Driving or riding a plane. Not only that, since the inspiration of Biden unveiling this plan is mostly surrounding helping the environment, this will overall be a convenient addition to our society. Another Innovation that seems to be already in the works is the use of electric buses.

Since Biden’s new plan is heavily focused on Environmental Progression while also trying to add more charging stations around the United States, electric buses seem like the next big step for Transportation Development. It is already widely used in Places like China and that'll help lower the usage of gas. This will also play hand in hand with Biden trying to add a lane to the I-95 and more. Overall it seems that Biden’s plan for the future will definitely be something to keep a close eye on. More on Biden’s plan down below.
