  1. DigixDAO updates

Dissolution of DigixDAO

The last couple of weeks have been a bittersweet experience as the team works towards writing the smart contracts for Project Ragnarok and having it audited for the safety and comfort of all DGD holders who have participated in our governance platform until the end.

We are therefore pleased to share that the smart contract to ensure a smooth dissolution is completed and audited by Quantstamp, a renowned audit company for blockchain smart contracts. As you know all DGD tokens will be unstaked at the start of the next Digix quarter, where all ETH from DigixDAO will reside in the DigixDAO Refund Contract;

The smart contract codes that were audited are available at https://github.com/DigixGlobal/dao-contracts/tree/mainnet-production and the official Quantstamp certificate can be found here.

All DGD token holders are advised to withdraw their DGD tokens from exchanges as the token may be delisted in all exchanges. All DGD holders will then be required to submit two transactions on the Ethereum blockchain to suicide their DGDs for the withdrawal of 0.193 ETH from DigixDAO.

As a reminder for all, projects that are currently funded or have unfunded milestones on the DigixDAO platform will cease to be funded. It is important to note that DGDs will be deprecated as there will not be any utility nor rewards for DGD tokens with the deprecation of the governance platform.

We would love to hear from you!
