Resumé of the midyear report

If you haven’t read the midyear report or the updated whitepaper for DIM Ecosystem you can catch up on the most important aspects/news here:

Development:

• There was 3 programming companies working on HYBSE simultaneously. One company has fallen out due to quality issues. The second company is in alpha stage and internal testing. The third company should be done at the end of this summer
• The internal developments team will be taking over the back-end and administration
• DIM intend on embarking on a long-term partnership with the 2 programming companies.
• There have been updates to DEPOTWALLET to fix different issues
• IBIN was launched successfully
• DIMWALLET is in the testing phase and will soon be released

Furthermore - in the midyear update it’s written: “For this reason, it is crucial that we launch the HYBSE only when it is fully developed and of a high-end quality.” Which I translate into that HYBSE will only be released once it’s fully developed. So no alpha or beta, only the real deal.

My conclusion on this is that HYBSE should be done within a few months (end of summer 2018).

New products:

• DIM X is a project that was born from the problem of high fees and slow confirmation speeds that are prevalent with other cryptocurrencies and blockchains. DIM X is a cryptocurrency converting platform, the platform converts different cryptocurrencies into Data Interchange Modules (DIM) Cryptocurrencies. DIM X will initially only convert Bitcoin and Ethereum into DIM Cryptocurrencies such as DIM BTC and DIM ETH. The values of the converted DIM BTC and DIM ETH will be linked to market prices of the actual Bitcoin and Ethereum coins.
  The duplicated cryptocurrencies will be able to be transacted at high speeds and in large quantities without the worries of different transaction fees and multiple logins to various wallets. The currencies can be held in DEPOTWALLET
• There is an ongoing project on developing CryptoXchange. DIM is working on the Whitepaper at the moment. More info will come.
• There are also whitepapers for two secret projects that are yet to be announced.

Marketing:

• The release of the HYBSE trailer achieved more than one million views (not paid).
• IBIN press release reached an advertorial value of $4,2 million. This press release was sent in 12 different languages.
• Go2DIM campaign has been held and we are currently waiting for pictures and videos from the trip.
• The marketing for HYBSE is planned including a huge amount of marketing to increase the awareness about HYBSE for both issuers and users

HR:

• All employees will have to attend training in their own areas
• There are currently 8 in-house developers but DIM aim to have 30 in-house developers in total by the end of December 2019
• There are 1 quality controller
• DIM is hiring. Take a look in the midyear update on page 4. If you think you are qualified for the job, please apply.

DIM-listing:

DIM is always working on getting DIMCOIN listed. But along the road, there have been a few challenges. One of the challenges was the exchanges to integrate with NEM blockchain. After the release of GitHub and the DIM explorer, the integration became smoother for exchanges to list DIMCOIN.

Wise consulting:

Wise consulting has received licensing in Switzerland, but due to high geographical costs and drawn-out negotiations with the team members of Wise Consulting, it is proving to be financially strenuous for the DIM Ecosystem, and therefore, it is on hold. We will, of course, inform you of future developments.
