Telegram’s 300 million users will soon be able to trade bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies

The price of bitcoin has stabilized at around $10,000 as traders and investors fear global regulators could block the social media giant Facebook’s plans for its rival, which some see as a tacit acceptance of bitcoin and its underlying technology.

Encrypted transactions are entering Telegram through Button wallet, a provider of bitcoin and cryptocurrency wallets. Telegram is a messaging app that claims more than 300 million users worldwide.
