New Worms, and First Feedings

These are the worms that I picked up this week. I got them from a local worm farmer in Berkeley via. Craigslist. Here I am introducing them to a much larger bin.

The food scraps I was able to pick up from Mellana Cafe in Berkeley. I was hesitant because the scraps smelled strong of citrus, which are not favored by the worms. I them threw in anyway, hoping for the best.
