The Swiss software licensing giant posted a 7.4% increase in revenues to $1.6 billion in the first quarter of 2023, driven by strong demand for cloud and digital transformation solutions. However, the company also saw some negative effects from Microsoft’s new commerce experience (NCE) model, which reduced its gross profit margin by 1.4 percentage points.
