Discolovery #12: instarunners in Moscow
Capital city of Russia ,Moscow is a huge, unique and vibrant city that has a lot to offer. Whether you go there for tourism or business, you will not have time to get bored, but bring your running shoes, as it is the best way to discover a city!
And if you want to live a unique experience, you can sign up for Moscow’s marathon. It takes place each year in September and takes runners through a circular route, passing many impressives attractions, including the White House, Moskva-City, four of the Seven Sisters skyscrapers, Bolshoi Theatre, FSB (former KGB) building, Polytechnic Museum, the Kremlin, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and Krasny Oktyabr factory… A Marathon and a great touristic tour, all in one!
But for now, let’s discover some of Moscow’s instarunners:
Gorky Park Runners is a running crew, that owes it’s name to the Gorky Park, situated just across the Moskva River. They are part of the Bridge The Gap community, and they meet every week to run together.

Polina is a member of Gorky Park Runners, as well as Moscow’s Nike running Club.
Most of her captions are in russian, but we really like her pictures: a lot of running, a bit of Moscow sightseing, some healthy food, and a huge amount of good vibes!

Xenia describes herself as a “Runner, Traveler, Motivator” and she is one of our favourites instarunners in Moscow.
She seems to like races a lot: she already ran 30 half-marathons, 7 full marathons, and we are pretty sure that there will be a lot more coming soon!
