TwitchCon 2015 Announced!

Big news this week from streaming behemoth Twitch. The long anticipated convention celebrating Twitch broadcasters and their communities is finally going to be a reality. TwitchCon 2015 will take place September 25–26 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

There’s not a lot of detail being revealed as of yet (we’re anxious to find out which of our favorite broadcasters are going to be there!), but early indications of what you can expect at the Con include:

• panels
• broadcast pods
• a gaming lab
• meet & greet autograph sessions with broadcasters
• a massive after party at the Bill Graham Auditorium
• a Twitch experience zone where you can learn the in’s and out’s of broadcasting
• an expo hall
• exclusive merchandise

Tickets are on-sale right now. You can even get early bird pricing (10% off) if you purchase your tickets before April 24th($45 for Friday, $54 for Saturday, the weekend early bird tickets are already sold out). The after-party at the Bill Graham is a separate ticket ($25), but you must have a con ticket to be able to purchase a ticket to the party.

The Discord team is really excited about TwitchCon! We’ll be there to show the community how the app can vastly improve interactions with other gamers while playing and streaming. And we’ll be giving out some exclusive Discord swag of course. :) We hope to see you there!
