February 25th was certainly an eventful day for Democratic lawmakers in Washington D.C.. On the 25th, Joe Biden’s administration unilaterally decided to bomb Syria with no oversight from Congress. He also decided to stand alongside Neera Tanden in her efforts to get confirmed into his administration as Director of the Office of Management and Budget, with his Chief of Staff declaring on they were going to “fight our guts out” to get her confirmed. Meanwhile on the very same day, Biden and his fellow Senate Democratic lawmakers shrugged their shoulders and simply expressed their disappointment when an unelected Senate Parliamentarian decided the $15 minimum wage provision could not be in the administration’s $1.9 trillion Covid relief bill, conveniently leaving out the fact that Vice President Harris absolutely has the power to overrule the Parliamentarian if she wanted to. Democrats also happened to express their hesitancy to roll back the Trump tax cuts.

This isn’t what Georgia flipped blue for.

Just a little over a month after a run off election gave Democrats unified control of the Government, this is how the people have been repaid.
