By Attacking Haitians, Trump, and Vance Pursue Racial Purity

It’s not just Haitians they want to deport; there are others as well

Those who watched the presidential debate on Tuesday, Sept. 10, would have heard former President Trump making the following accusation:

In Springfield [Ohio], they’re eating the dogs….They’re eating the cats. They’re eating — they’re eating the pets of the people that live there.

A day earlier on Monday, Sept 9, Trump’s running mate, J D Vance of Ohio wrote on the social media platform, X, “Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn’t be in this country.”

The Haitians are not illegal immigrants. They have Temporary Protected Status, a temporary immigration status provided to nationals of countries experiencing problems that make it unsafe for them to be deported there. This law was enacted in 1990 when George H. W. Bush was the president.
