And apparently, the solution was right in front of us all this time. The name of it is mobile modular houses. Being an eco-way to live in Scandinavian towns located far away from the critical infrastructure, the mobile housing approach works perfectly for:

  • being electrically autonomous;
  • being fully independent in terms of water, gas, etc

While considering this “nomadic” lifestyle previously, currently it’s considered a freedom and a chance to save yourself from extremely high prices for oil and gas on one side and “bloody resources” on the other side. Many people think that mobile houses are something similar to trailers, however, they are not. Being a 2.0 version of trailers, so-called, they more likely can be called “houses that can easily be moved”.

While getting the house people (like those who lost their houses due to the war in Ukraine get from our program of adaptation) can get communications like canalization made within 2h from the moment of installation. At the same time, the house has fully independent generators of electricity and can work without any gas required.

Inflation, which makes this winter so scary for many of us keeps on taking the front lines in news articles all over Europe. People don’t know how they will survive this winter, considering the fact Euro becomes weaker and weaker and gas along with oil gets more expensive, which affects the prices of goods and all the necessary products for people. This causes great housing crises, where landlords now start earning the most, hiring property agents, who help those in need find cheaper housing options.

However, becoming both green and safe from economical stagnation is simple just by moving to the mobile modular house. While many people keep on thinking this living type was created for those who can’t afford big and strong houses themselves the mobile modular house can become a sustainable place for a family of 3–4 people.

Living in the contemporary world we keep on seeing how old structures show their disability to go through new challenges: bit and beautiful castles become unneeded, grand flats are staying empty, while people keep on choosing something for “now and here”. And we believe that for such unstable political and economic times mobile modular houses may be the best choice.

By the way, you must have heard of the NEST foundation in Ukraine — Vsimdim is happy to announce, that even more families will get houses now since Vsimdim became an official partner for NEST and will bring our mobile modular houses to the places where “family nests” of people were burnt down with Russian rockets. Keep on following our news on Instagram.
