Called ‘The Wooden Konark’, Biranchi-Narayana of Buguda is another temple dedicated to the sun god. This is the reddish-hued main deity.

Wooden Ceiling

This unique temple was built entirely out of wood. The facades have some of the most intricate work carved in wood.

There are only four hues. What magic just four colours can create in the hands of an expert artist!
