Today, Lord Jagannatha will return to his temple, after facing the anger of Maa Lakshmi, his wife. Jagannatha and Lakshmi have a long argument before she lets him inside. This is the Lakshmi-Narayana Bachanika. I’ll be sharing some stanzas of the traditional song-dialogue between the God & the Goddess. Sung by yours truly.
