I’ve still got some notes to share about the first set of events and activities this year that have got Albuquerque on track for a great 2018, but let’s get set for a great February!

My first February highlight event is still coming together, but… I’m ecstatic about it: Backstage Capital founder/manager Arlan Hamilton is visiting Albuquerque and will talk at Coronado Ventures Forum on February 20th. Arlan is leading the way in many respects, but especially in championing the overlooked entrepreneurs who are women, people of color, and/or LGBTQIA that more traditional venture investment seems to ignore.

Also didja know that Albuquerque has its own professional touring dance company? And that performing artists from around the country are visiting the Keshet Ideas and Innovation Center in two cohorts to learn to develop their business hand in hand with their art? Their new Maker Space Experience is going on now!
