Liza Doran owns the Cow Creek Trading Post in Bluff, Utah and keeps a sign supporting the monument propped up alongside the highway. She said that trying to rescind or reduce it is, “a waste of time.”

“You’re looking at years and years of litigation,” she said. “This is sacred land and it should be protected.”
