Video Guide to the Arma 3 Jets DLC

Arma 3 recently had a free platform update, along with the release of the Jets DLC. That added an aircraft supercarrier for everyone, and also realistic plane warfare with four new aircraft. If you weren’t sure about whether to invest £8.99 in the new content, this new video guide to the Arma 3 Jets DLC should help.

The video guide to the Arma 3 Jets DLC covers various aspects of the new planes. Including running through the various types, weapons, sensors, and new tactics available. Plus the anti-air weapons which will provide an additional threat. So it’s well worth watching to get an advantage on your opponents!

The free platform update (1.70) included more advanced targeting and detection systems, an expanded damage model for aircraft, the ability to customise a vehicle loadout, plus the supercarrier mentioned above.

It’s one of several new DLC packs which are being worked on, and the video also includes Bohemia Interactive Creative Director Jay Crowe talking about how Jets was the first collaboration with a third-party development team, and a quick update on the rest of the content coming to the game.

That includes the Malden update which will be free for everyone, and the paid ‘Orange’ (working title), Tac-Ops and Tanks update. The free Malden content will arrive on June 22nd, which is the 16th anniversary of the Arma series, and the Orange DLC will now appear in the third quarter of 2017.

Also out in June will be the new free multiplayer shooter from Bohemia Interactive, Argo.

The Jets DLC can be purchased via either Steam or the Bohemia Store, and will cost €9.99 / $11.99 / £8.99. Or you can purchase the Arma 3 DLC Bundle 2, which includes Jets, plus the upcoming Orange, Tac-Ops and Tanks DLC, and saves you 25% on buying them all separately. The bundle costs €22.99 / $24.99 / £19.99
