Energy Savings with Noova & Disruptive Technologies at Factory №7

Factory №7’s energy consumption story is one we’ve seen too often: they utilized more energy than the building required. They had contacted a well-known energy supplier, who had given them no advice on how to deal with their excess energy problem or cut use in the future.

The client’s activities ceased due to the pandemic, but the building’s baseload electricity remained high.

During the months when electricity use increases, the energy payment scheme requires clients to pay an extra cost per hour (October to March). As a result, when activity restarted in the winter, energy usage and costs increased. The baseload electricity usage increased by 34% from October 2019 to 2020. The property and its tenants faced exorbitant fees as a result of this.

Factory №7 Property contacted Noova, who installed Disruptive Technologies temperature sensors that provide data to Noova’s Logic Energy system. They gained insight into their facility thanks to the use of analytics to the building data gathered from the sensors.
