How do DePIN Keys unlock more rewards?
On CoinMarketCap alone, there are more than 2 million cryptocurrencies referenced, which makes finding the next gem difficult.
Understanding a particular DePIN project, its infrastructure and the hardware requirements is a painstaking step for new contributors. DistriBrain is to resolve such difficulties by introducing a network of distributed computing resources through Engines and DePIN keys.
What is a DePIN Key?
DePIN Keys are exclusive digital assets (NFT’s) within the DistriBrain platform designed to provide holders with significant benefits and privileges. These keys are awarded as part of the platform’s incentive structure, enhancing user engagement and offering increased ecosystem rewards. Users can automatically acquire a DePIN key by purchasing five (5) DistriBrain Engines here. All DistriBrain Engines are currently earning daily from a token reward pool allocated to them. DePIN Key Holders, however, earn additional rewards from a bonus reward pool solely dedicated to them.
Resource Pooling
All DistriBrain Engines will be able to operate a hardware node and contribute to DistriBrain’s DePIN layer for additional rewards. While the aggregated computing resources are mainly used for empowering DistriBrain’s Machine Learning Protocol, all computing resources will be part of our resource pooling system. This system enables efficient utilization and dynamic allocation of resources, fostering a decentralized and robust infrastructure for diverse applications. Any excess computing resources could be connected to different AI projects, that will mutually benefit DistriBrain. Collected rewards are then redistributed to the particular node operator and DePIN Key holders.
Multi-Mining Rewards for DePIN Keys
Before DistriBrain gathers the necessary amount of computing resources, we plan to initially provide the required hardware to jumpstart the services for our applications. The first application that will be released for the users will be our Decentralized VPN that will allow users to browse freely without censorship.
DistriBrain’s native VPN application will be built using the Sentinel Protocol. In part of the development process, we will set up the initially required nodes to contribute to the Sentinel Network. This will allow us to distribute token rewards the nodes gather to the DePIN Key holders.
DePIN Keys are a crucial component of DistriBrain. With a limited number of only 4,000 Keys ever to be available, DistriBrain will continue to pursue a diversification of rewards and benefits for the DePIN Key and Engine holders.
