Board Affirms Vision 2022 Annual Work Plans

At their meeting, the Board affirmed this year’s Vision 2022 Work Plans in the areas of student learning, student services, innovation and technology, administrative services, business services and community engagement. Annually, the Board of Education sets goals and establishes priorities within the Vision 2022 Strategic Plan.

Part of the work this school year includes finalizing the District’s Portrait of a Graduate that will inform the development of a new strategic plan in the Spring. As a community, we must decide what experience we want for our District 200 students moving forward. Our community has made excellent progress collaborating on our Portrait of a Graduate, and we intend to finish this important work this year. This will allow our students to continue to achieve high levels of success in and outside of the classroom. With so much of our community engaged in our schools, now is the time to have these important conversations so we can build on the progress we’ve achieved together in recent years.

We invite the community to join us for our first of two in-person community engagement sessions on Wednesday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Hubble Middle School, during our scheduled Board Committee of the Whole Meeting, to gather community input to finalize our Portrait of a Graduate.
