At their meeting, the Board approved Mr. Matt Biscan to serve as the next Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services beginning July 1. Mr. Biscan is replacing Dr. Charlie Kyle who was recently named the next Superintendent of Burr Ridge 180. Mr. Biscan is a familiar name in District 200 as he has served at Wheaton North High School for the past 24 years as a Dean, Assistant Principal, and then Principal for the past 9 years. Prior to serving at Wheaton North, Mr. Biscan served as a teacher, dean and coach at Providence Catholic High School. Mr. Biscan earned his M.A. in Educational Administration at Governors State University and his B.S. in Kinesiology and Secondary Education from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Superintendent Dr. Jeff Schuler is excited to have Mr. Biscan join the District leadership team. “Matt has been an incredibly accomplished leader at Wheaton North,” said Dr. Schuler. I look forward to utilizing his skills to support our work at all of our District 200 schools.”

The change in roles is bittersweet for Mr. Biscan. “Being the principal of Wheaton North High School has been the most challenging and rewarding experience of my career in education and has provided me with so many positive experiences and great memories,” said Mr. Biscan. “While I will miss the people of Wheaton North dearly, I’m thrilled to have the chance to lead and support our district through a broader role. No matter the position that we hold in the field of education, relationships, and opportunities shape the experiences of our students and staff. I’m looking forward to assisting District 200 in that important work.”
