Congratulations to the Wheaton Warrenville South High School Cyber Patriots

Earlier this spring, students in the Cyber Patriots Club at Wheaton Warrenville South High School placed 1st in the Central Illinois High School Cyber Defense Competition at Illinois State University! At their meeting, the Board of Education recognized the students for their outstanding achievements. As part of the competition, students are tasked with defending a company from Information Security Professionals that are trying to infiltrate and disrupt their networks. According to their club sponsor Lori Blackburn, students spent a lot of time preparing with various scenarios and they get a kick out of being hacked in real-time and trying to stop the hackers. Congratulations!
