Earlier this week, Wheaton Warrenville South hosted their first Teen Driver Safety Fair in partnership with the Carol Stream Police, Illinois State Police, Illinois Secretary of State, Illinois Department of Transportation and Think First of Northwestern Medicine.

South teacher Denise McCance has taught health, physical education, response to emergency and drivers education for 20 years. Providing students a hands-on learning experience is critical — which is why Mrs. McCance organized a day-long Teen Driver Safety Fair for all drivers education and response to emergency students.

The partner organizations allowed students to experience simulations is drunk driving, car roll-over, car crash and distracted driving. Watch this short video to learn more!
