Want to join the redistricting community for your state but aren’t sure where to start? Look no further than the Public Mapping Project’s collaborative redistricting pages for each U.S. state.

On each page, you’ll find redistricting map templates containing settings to draw legal legislative and Congressional plans. In addition, we are adding featured maps of each of the state’s proposed and approved redistricting plans, thanks to the team at Redistrict2020.

The Public Mapping Project is comprised of a coalition of people who believe that democracy works best when the public is engaged. The principal investigators on the project are Dr. Michael P. McDonald of the University of Florida and Dr. Micah Altman of MIT. You can find a list of public organizations using DistrictBuilder here.
