I remember when joining on LinkedIn in late 2018, didn’t know how to make good use of the platform.

Anyways, let’s start like this;

LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, has become a great tool for individuals seeking career growth, networking opportunities, and professional development. Among the various features it offers, the introduction of LinkedIn Voice Badges has added a new dimension to user engagement, recognition, and community building.

For the newcomers, or those who were not so much interested or didn’t know what to do, take this one;

LinkedIn Voice Badges are a testament to a user’s active participation and contributions within the platform. These badges, such as my Teaching Voice Badge, are awarded based on consistent and valuable interactions within relevant discussions on collaborative articles, etc. They serve as virtual tributes, showcasing a user’s expertise, commitment, and influence in specific areas.

Let me empower you;

LinkedIn is not just about those who actively contribute but also about the silent observers who may not realize the potential at their fingertips. Many individuals join LinkedIn but remain passive, merely scrolling through their feeds without engaging in discussions, posting updates, or commenting on others’ content.

I find it necessary, and crucial to understand that engaging in discussions and receive Voice Badges/or sometimes not, uncover a wealth of opportunities, including those you’re looking for, being a job, networking, etc. These badges are more than just virtual decorations — they symbolize credibility, expertise, and a willingness to share knowledge. By actively participating, you can position yourself as a valuable contributor, opening doors to new connections, collaborations, and career prospects.

And to those who have yet to discover the power of their voice on LinkedIn, my journey serves as an inspiration. I started as an active participant in discussions, sharing my insights and gradually building a reputation for myself (though I came to realize that I started late to engage), and also got me interested to start my own articles (#KidigaArticles) on LinkedIn Newsletter. My Top Teaching Voice Badge is a visible result of my consistent efforts.

LinkedIn is a platform that prospers on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and community engagement. By breaking the silence and actively participating, you can unlock the full potential of LinkedIn, showcasing your skills, expertise, and unique perspectives and attain your goals.

It’s time to embrace the power of your voice and uncover the vast opportunities that await within this professional networking powerhouse.
