The Top
We were terrified of believing. We were younger than this place expects us to be. As we stood and looked up, the stairs led up to an unknown destination.
A castle or a tower, hidden in the clouds, crossing through the skies to a place of obscurity.
One step after another we climbed. The world is above us, but people behind. The closer we are to the edge, the more we are rooted within ourselves.
When you truly make it to the top, surprises lie and wait on hold to be picked up.
Powers of unpredictable nature and a reality once you perceive the big picture. Once you walk all the way.
You cannot see what is far below you, dear, if you truly made it to the top.
And here I am climbing, hoping for a place where I realize. Good or bad, reality is what I want to see.
