Talking Points for Investor/Founder Harassment

Some of my favorite investors and founders (too many to list in a quick post) put together a thoughtful paper on industry best practices to address sexual harassment in investor/founder relations. Core suggestions include:

  • VCs need to adopt formal policies that protect founders from sexual harassment and discrimination
  • VC firms should establish processes for both reporting and enforcement
  • Founders (both male and female) should pressure not only their existing investors to establish policy on these issues, but also any new investors that are trying to buy into their company
