This alignment follows a full moon/eclipse in the sign of Pisces, where we observe and evaluate the spiritual principles we have chosen to live by.
Nine is savored in some traditions as the number of the Goddess, the creative feminine principle of this and all worlds in our universe. She holds the creative power of life. Though long denigrated, She is not gone from any of us, no matter our form, gender, or preferred pronouns.
Emily’s body roused her from a hard sleep. It was perhaps the first in quite some time. She had been dreaming and knew it. In the dream, she floated into an odd, creamy beige room with all the functional appearance of a padded cell. In the far corner stood a woman with fiery red hair, coifed into the shape Jackie Kennedy, {yes, pre-Onassis} and her own mother used to wear.
The red hair stood out as the only color in the room. The woman’s shirtdress was of a nondescript fabric, the same color as the walls of the room. She was backed into a corner, her back against the join of the walls, her arms outstretched in front of her, palms curled downward so they could not be seen. “Don’t come any closer,” they seemed to say.
