Living Lightly
Once upon a time, I read the phrase ‘Kind Traveler’ and listened. I cut out the words and pasted them in a small collage that began its life in France and ended up in New Zealand. Funny how some visions travel with us.

I used to make collages in the form of vision boards. The only reason I have not done so in quite awhile is that these boards have shifted frequently and the dreams and intentions they have reflected have largely been lived. That’s something to report, isn’t it?
What if most journeying is not to find something, anything, including ourselves, but to facilitate an inner recalibration that brings us home to what we are?
My re-invention journey was to remember.
I have moved house many times in this life, first with my family, and later for Uni and beyond.
In 2014, I sold or gave away most of my ‘life,’ including household goods, clothing, beloved artwork, and began a journey. I called it a “reinvention journey” with tongue firmly planted in cheek.
“What is next?” was the inner motivation. This was not the first time I had switched timelines and begun a new life within this one. All previous reinventions had been conscious. This one was determined. Though I had just rebuilt my life, I let it all go…again.
