Sacred Space ~ Safe Space
Is there a difference?
We all have our ideas about what is sacred and what is safe. Sometimes these definitions coincide, sometimes they do not. In a world that believes itself to be polarized there is much ado about everything. From this, we ultimately learn.
Once upon a time, a child emerged into a world where darkness was worshipped with equal reverence to any kind of light, especially the false kind. The darkness knew itself to be a differently vibrating flavor of light, and so, tried with all its might to infiltrate and expand the false light. Perhaps, in doing so, the darkness might regain equal status with the higher vibrating frequencies of the galaxies once more. And, it did well, indeed.
This child, however, child of innocence, child of the true Source of all light, could see beyond all such machinations. These manipulations only made the child feel sad and want to weep, knowing somehow that all such tears are holy water. “What am I doing here?” wondered the child, even amid much wonder. Each blossom, flower, fruit, and tree whispered the music of magic to the child’s yearning ears.
The child knew that each embodiment is sacred, and holds sacred space. And then, she forgot, her inner certainty subsumed by the things of this strange world. And then, the Great Remembering began.
