Sunrise on the Divide
Re-turning to a new life, once again.
I opened my eyes to a pink glow edging its way along the ceiling. Following twenty-seven hours of actual travel time, I dumped my luggage where I was fairly sure I wouldn’t fall over it between bed and bathroom, and crashed, the way I used to post-marathon. My diaphragm stretched as I gasped a bit for more oxygen. I didn’t dare rub my gritty eyes. Where am I?
