Tap to view photo received from “Person 1,” then close, then tap “View Reaction” to see reaction video of you, then tap to send if you want to send back to “Person 1.” Designed by D.J. Sherrets.

Snapchat today:

  • Users can view media, then afterwards send media back, but there’s no recording during viewing media.

Proposed idea:

  1. View video.
  2. Close and see “View Reaction.”
  3. Tap “View Reaction” to see reaction video, with preview of what was reacted to in lower left. Tap arrow to send.
  4. Note that says “Reaction Sent.”

Comments:

  • Reaction recorded if user has setting to choose to have reactions and/or if sender requested a reaction. Reaction only sent if person chooses to send their reaction back.
  • Setting to turn on reactions so records front facing video when viewing media.
  • This way there’s an ability to send reaction is there without being too prominent.
