Easily see who you have selected to edit / add to / remove recipients. Design shows making a photo, tapping next, selecting recipients, tapping on the recipients list on the bottom to automatically scroll up to the “Recipients” list, then taps to remove one of the recipients. Designed by D.J. Sherrets.

Snapchat today:

  • When you select recipients, a list appears on a horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen.
  • If the space for names is too long, you can swipe horizontally to see who else is selected.
  • However, if you select people across a long list, it may be hard to know for sure if you have selected everyone you want. There’s a need to see in vertical list all of the people you have selected so far.

Proposed idea:

  1. Tap to make a photo.
  2. Tap next to advance.
  3. Tap Person 3.
  4. Tap Person 5.
  5. Tap Add to Story.
  6. Tap the list of recipients on the bottom bar, which takes you to the top of the list to see recipients selected. Scroll to see the information.
  7. Tap on Person 3 and see that the two places showing Person 3 removes the selection.

Comments:

  • Possibility is that this could encourage selecting more friends by seeing who you want to receive.
  • Also available to see recipients list by scrolling up at any time, in addition to tapping on the list of people on the bottom left bar.
  • This design also can apply for including the ability to search for friends to add.
Make photo, tap next…
…select Person 3, select Person 5, select Add to Story…
…tap the list of recipients on the bottom bar that scrolls up to the selected section, and tap on Person 3 to remove the selection. Designed by D.J. Sherrets.
