Check Everything you need to know before buying a used iPhone

1. Verifying both are similar, setting IMEI and sim tray IMEI

2. Check iPhone IMEI in this website and check bellow in the Photo.

3. Check Battery Condition

i. shoot 120 photos Continuously

Decreasing 0%-1% = Good

Decreasing >2% = Bad

ii. Shoot 20 photos with flash Continuously on or after iPhone is 20%

Phone shutdown = Bad

Decreasing 0%-1% = Good

Decreasing >2% = Bad

4.CHECK FOR WATER DAMAGE

i. Liquid damage is most obviously shown by splotches on the LCD screen.

ii. Here are the water damage Indicators for the different makes, shining a light inside the sim tray. If the indicator is red or pink, it means that the device has been water damaged.

5.Check of the Touch ID

Delete finger prints and Add new finger print and check reading speed.

6.Check of the 3D Touch sensor is work.

7.Check vibration is work.

8.Check Screen

i. Crank up the brightness on the phone and open up the “Settings” or “Notes” app so you can get a white background on the screen. Does the white look truly white? Some screens can develop a slight tint, usually pink.

ii. Go to the home screen and hold your finger on any app icon. The apps will start to wiggle. You can then drag them around the screen. Drag an app over the entire screen. If the app drops without you taking your finger off the screen, you might have just found a dead spot.

9.Check Mute Button to make sure they’re performing normally.

10.Check Speakers and Microphones

i. Get call and check Ear speaker and Bottom microphone.

ii. Test microphone and Main speaker of these using the “Voice Memos” app.

iii. Hold down the home button for a second, and say “Hey Siri”. If Siri doesn’t respond, there may be a problem with the Top microphone.

11.Check port

i. Plug in your headphones and play song.

double check the volume buttons. Make sure that sound is coming from both sides of the headphones.

ii. Check lightning Port, it may work both side and also make sure it’s recognized by the iPhone. and also connect iTunes using that cable. On. iTunes appear your device, cable is good one.

12.Check Camera

i. Test out the rear-facing camera’s autofocus. Zoom in on something in the distance, and try tapping the screen in different areas. The lens should automatically adjust focus and brightness.

ii. Take several pictures and video with both the rear-facing and the selfie cameras and compare photo same model of iPhone.

13.Check Connectivity

i. Put in your SIM card and try making a call and sending a text

ii. Test the Wi-Fi connectivity. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and take a look under “Choose a Network…”. If a number of networks are available, the Wi-Fi antenna is good. If only one or two come up, or none at all, there might be a problem.

And also try to connect network and check it work

iii. Test the Bluetooth. Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth, and toggle it on if it wasn’t already. A few devices should be discoverable. If none come up, there might be a problem.(bring a Bluetooth device of your own)
