The De La Salle University (DLSU) Poomsae Team capped their UAAP Season 84 campaign Third overall, securing one Gold, one Silver, and three Bronze medals, earlier today at the SM Mall of Asia Arena Coral Way.

With this finish, the DLSU Poomsae Team fail to defend their back-to-back championships, where the UST Poomsae Jins emerged victorious this season. On the brighter side, all of the Green Jins were able to shine, bringing medals in each of their respective events.

Patrick King Perez (8.550) started things off for La Salle, successfully defending his Male Individual Event title, his third straight, besting NU’s Ceanne Ronquillo (8.530) and UST’s Vincent Rodriguez (8.370).

For the Female Individual Event, rookie Sofia Sarmiento sealed the Bronze medal with 8.385, behind NU’s Laeia Soria (8.470) and ROY MVP Aidaine Laxa from UST (8.455).

The duo of Team Captains Perez and Mikee Regala (8.615), on the other hand, brought home the Silver Medal in the Mixed Pair Event following UST’s Kobe Macario and Jade Carno’s (8.665) Gold finish.

Meanwhile, the trio of Jessie Ignacio, Aldrin Pacana, and Michael Porras for the Men’s Team, and Daphne Ching, Regala, and Zyka Santiago for the Women’s Team locked the Bronze medals in the Male Team Event (8.220) and Female Team Event (8.400), respectively.
