The final day of UAAP Season 84 3x3 basketball found the DLSU Green Archers with an upsetting result as they settle for Silver while the Lady Archers finish seventh with a 2–4 record earlier today at CaSoBe, Batangas.

Standing at the number one and two spots, the Green Archers faced off with the UST Growling Tigers for the Finals. La Salle built up a large nine-point lead to control most of the game. However, UST diminished this lead and later went on to overtake the Green Archers, 21–20. With this, La Salle dropped to a Silver finish in their UAAP campaign.

Earlier today, the Green Archers opened their Day 2 action with an identical close game defeat courtesy of UST, 20–21. But similar to yesterday, the Archers bounced back from the loss and went on to win their next two games.

In their second game against the UP Fighting Maroons, La Salle built up a six-point lead early on, until the Maroons were able to equalize at 19 apiece. Ralph Cu was able to secure the victory, 21–19, with a long bomb. He finished with 10 points off 71% shooting, six rebounds, and one assist. Emman Galman also shared the load with his seven points off 5/7 FG, three rebounds, and four assists. Ben Phillips also contributed four points, two rebounds, and one assist to the win.

Following this, the Archers overcame the NU Bulldogs, 19–17, in their third outing. Both squads kept up with each other, with no team gaining separation greater than three points. All Archers contributed in point production to overcome the Bulldogs, Donn Lim, Ben Philipps and Ralph Cu each had seven while Emman Galman added two points.

The Lady Archers started Day 2 on a high note, winning their first game against the UP Lady Maroons, 12–11. Co-Captain Marga Jiminez carried most of the load with seven points off 44% shooting, two rebounds, and two free throws. Angel Quinco and Bettina Binaohan, on the other hand, each contributed two points with the former registering seven rebounds, and two assists while the latter also with six rebounds and an assist. Chini Espinas likewise chipped in one point, three rebounds, and one steal.

Unfortunately, the Lady Archers bowed to the NU Lady Bulldogs in a close game encounter, 10–12, to cap their season. La Salle kept up with the Bulldogs defensively, resulting in a low-scoring match, but the shot production between the two teams proved to be the telling point, as NU garnered a four-point separation which led to their victory. With this loss, the Lady Archers finish their Season 84 Campaign at seventh place with a 2–4 record.
