Like most people, we at DMLA were stunned by the events of January 6, 2021, the breach of the United States Capitol. In light of these events, DMLA wants to celebrate the courageous work of photojournalists and filmmakers who risked their lives to bring us the story.

In October 2020, we heard from renowned photojournalists at the DMLA’s Digital Media Licensing Conference about the personal risks they take every day. These working photojournalists have covered the pandemic, protests, and many other major events during the last year.

We hope you enjoy seeing some of their work, and hearing about their experiences.
