Introducing the New Members of the DMM Team
There have been many developments in the DMM Ecosystem in the past few months. As many of you might have noticed, there are many unfamiliar faces on the DMM website now. I wanted to use this blog to introduce some of the new members of the DMM Foundation.
New advisor:
Jordan Lyall:
Jordan is the Founder and Chief Meme Officer of the $MEME Project, an experimental protocol at the intersection of DeFi and NFTs. Jordan also serves as the DeFi Product Lead at ConsenSys, leading the team building the DeFi Score and other projects. Prior to joining ConsenSys, Jordan ran the product team at Totle, a DEX liquidity network. He is also passionate about bringing usability to web3.
New Foundation Members:
Carlos Sánchez:
Carlos recently joined the team as a Finance and Administrative Consultant. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration — Finance. He is a professional with more than nine years of experience in audit and assurance services for trade, manufacturing, services companies, and not-for-profit organizations, and spend ten years as an Audit Manager at Deloitte. Carlos assists with auditing the underlying assets currently backing the ecosystem. He also has experience creating value for companies through insights and recommendations that mitigate financial statement risks and internal control risks.
Maria Teresa Siman:
Maria is a graphic designer and marketing specialist with 4+ years of hands-on experience in graphic design content, branding, digital marketing, billing reporting, social media management, and copy-writer. Maria has worked as a marketing specialist for El Salvador Med Center and allied accounts. In charge of the design and coordination of the digital content for social media, website, and mailing, ensuring a strong online company voice and presence throughout digital platforms. At Joven 360 as a Digital Designer, responsible for the creation of content for social media platforms and event branding; part of my responsibilities included monitoring social media metrics, and implementing new strategies (such as promotions, events, and competitions) in order to reach the company goals. She has also worked as a Social Media Researcher and Designer at Manta Creatividad for new upcoming brands. Responsible for researching market competition, trends, and audience preferences, as well as designing social media strategies to promote and position new brands. And Finally, social media manager at Quetzal Guatemala, in charge of designing and implementing social media strategies for Instagram and Facebook, monitoring metrics, and copy writing for social media and digital brand content.
Eduardo Argueta:
Eduardo recently joined the team as a member of the Business development team. Eduardo has built his professional career in B2B Sales and Business Development working for tech companies like Huawei. He has over four years of experience building successful partnerships between companies and designing and executing effective outreach strategies, which lead to more sales. Eduardo first discovered cryptocurrency back in 2017 and immediately fell in love with the technology and possibilities it provided. He firmly believes in the potential of DeFi solving many of the problems inherent to traditional centralized finance.
Maria Isabel Siman:
Maria Isabel is a Team player, very efficient at multitasking, intellectually curious, good at problem-solving and working under pressure. Worked as Events Sales Executive at St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City. As a Food & Beverage Coordinator at Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane in London, and as Head of Sales and Marketing for LOA Hospitality Group in El Salvador. She is currently working at Defi Money Market Foundation as an Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Along with the new members that have joined the foundation, we will also be launching our Chinese WeChat, Chinese Telegram, and a Chinese Weibo account. We will be releasing the details of where to find the groups shortly. With this effort, we hope to expand our community to the Asian markets and garner a new demographic of users. Again, we want to thank the community for all of their support and will continue to grow the ecosystem proactively!
