We often hear from candidates that our recruitment process is unique. Why is that?

It’s important to us to invite individuals to the team who share similar values and have the experience that enables them to feel comfortable in our environment.

We think that recruitment is a mutual relationship where we get to know you, and you get to know us. And this is why we treat you as a partner.

In the rest of this article, you’ll find out what our recruitment process looks like and what you can expect.

We invite you to build this relationship in three steps:

  1. Introductory Call
  2. Teamtask + Coding
  3. Client Interview

During the first meeting, we check if DNA Technology is the place you’re looking for. At DNA we are a group of people with years of experience in software development. We take full responsibility for the products, influencing every stage of the product life-cycle from recognizing business needs to designing solutions and improving them. We want to surround ourselves with people who are open-minded, supportive, and ambitious. During our first meeting, we’ll discover if similar things matter to you.

The next step is the meeting called ‘Teamtask’ where together we work on the system design of an application. Conceptual exercises, such as system design let us verify the engineering craftsmanship of a person. It is also about interaction between us, sharing knowledge, and feeling like a team. Next, we move to the short live coding session (or exercise to do at home), allowing us to discover if we share similar coding practices.

In the final stage, you have the opportunity to talk to members of the client team you’ll be directly collaborating with. You’ll learn details about their daily work and product decision-making.

Going through these stages together allows us to build a healthy relationship, often resulting in years of cooperating. Candidates tell us they experience a highly individual approach from our side.

I feel that this individual approach is the primary value we can offer to everyone — whether they’re already on board with DNA or planning to join us.
