It is a hybrid document that is one-part white paper, one-part business plan — so that readers can better understand not just the technical details of the technology but the broader vision that will ensure this project’s success and our plan for achieving that vision.

Some might wonder why we would wait to release that white paper now. After all, DNotes has been around since 2014. Since that time, we have devoted ourselves to developing an ecosystem designed to facilitate our strategy to achieve mass awareness and adoption for the DNotes currency. We launched the DCEBrief news and opinion website, formed DNotes Global, Inc., and initiated CRISP rewards for DNotes stakeholders.

The community that supports us has been just as busy, adding fantastic community groups like CryptoMoms and leading-edge educational forums like DNotesEDU. Together, we have laid the foundation for DNotes expansion, with an eye toward increasing digital currency awareness and inclusiveness around the world.

With the recent launch of DNotes 2.0, though, we have entered a new phase in our development. The newest iteration of the DNotes digital currency comes with new technical features, expanded benefits, and exciting new opportunities for stakeholders, merchants who want to accept DNotes as payment, and the industry as a whole. As a result, we view the release of DNotes 2.0 as the beginning of our accelerated push to drive toward mass adoption of digital currency.

All these factors played a role in determining when we would release the DNotes Global white paper. I have always believed in doing the right thing, the right way, at the right time — and that principle was at the core of our white paper decision. It is also why the DNotes Global white paper focuses as much on the DNotes Global mission and strategy as it does on the digital currency’s capabilities — because both are critical to helping stakeholders, non-stakeholders, and investors better understand how we plan to achieve DNotes’ goals.
