Doctor Funny Humpday Checkup

Happy May 11, Surgeons

Well Interns,

We’ve made it halfway through May — National Embarrassing Medical Moments Month!

Perhaps the most embarrassing medical emergency for me? The fact that five minutes before pressing publish on my gem of a newsletter — the screen flatlined. Even the paddles didn’t work.

So here is a Doctor l̶o̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶l̶i̶c̶e̶n̶c̶e̶ attempting to revive her patient.

May Prompts

Check out all the weird and wonky responses to Christopher Robin’s May Prompt right here in one handy place.

And if you wanna know more about ALL the past prompts, check this out.

Twitter Stalking

We want your Twitter handles. Not to catfish you. Ahem. Because when we help you birth those word babies, we want to be the one announcing your bundle of joy to the cyber-world.

Editing Minutiae

If you see us scrubbing in to edit your work, please leave us alone. We can’t fit more than our fat hands into the patient’s chest cavity. And when we try, editing notes get deleted. Jen screeches The patient morphs into a cadaver. It ain’t pretty.

Best to step away from your computer. Go get a coffee. Do some light reading on Professional Obligations and Human Rights. Bone an orthopedic surgeon in the broom closet. Whatevs.

Just help us avoid editor shit fits.
