Klezmer, a.k.a. “Jewish Soul Music,” is a form of instrumental music that originated among European Ashkenazi Jews. Upbeat party music, Klezmer is often played at weddings, Bat Mitzvahs and other festive events.

Because we Jews are a clever people and Klezmer is a uniquely Jewish form of music, it makes sense that many Klezmer bands have clever names. Here are a few of my favorites:
