Like I said above, I’ve always been fascinated by the field of data science.

And finally, my interest is about to pay off, like an investment in a Trump casino. That’s because Medium is about to massively reward writers who write about data science. They’re going to do it bigly. Just you wait and see.

For those of you who endured a deprived upbringing, data science is defined thusly, by the very king of definitions, Wikipedia, as:

… an interdisciplinary academic field that uses statistics, scientific computing, scientific methods, processing, scientific visualization, algorithms and systems to extract or extrapolate knowledge and insights from potentially noisy, structured, or unstructured data.

Please note: Not to be confused with information science [IS] or computer science [CS].

Both IS and CS are boring AF and knowledge of either, or writing about either, is unlikely to get you paid or laid, so why bother?

DS on the other hand WILL shortly result in a cash windfall the likes of which the world has never seen. Just my share of the DS loot will mean I’ll instantly be as flashy as…
