But creation wasn’t finished. Not even close. Next up . . .

Step 5: CREATURES

God dramatically waved his hand over the oceans, and the seas erupted with all manner of bizarre life, including mystery sea monsters just waiting for humans to take blurry photos of them later. He was especially proud of the angler fish because it came with its own free light source.

God looked at the absolute madness in the water, nodded, and thought, “Okay, this is wild. But the sky is still a bit empty.” And He did that wavy thing with His hand again, commanding: “Let there be birds and let some of them be weird.”

I found a much funnier picture, but it turned out to be copyrighted and expensive. This one is free to use from pixabay. And will have to do.

This upped the chaos as the skies were filled with feathered things, some of which started to practice the screaming they would do at dawn.
