yeah —
sweating — is there a fire in my head?
Nope!

My stomach was flat this morning —
it’s true —
but then I drank water and now it’s HUGE
It’s the menopause mambo!
I’m suddenly aware that I have joints

arthritis is hurting this ole’ back
It’s the menopause mambo!
When did hair appear on my face?

dark chin hairs plucked for steep fees
It’s the menopause mambo!
Tumbleweed dryness is my new friend
(in town)
ashy skin with lines all around
It’s the menopause mambo!
This dance to freedom arrives
