There is much talk — and displeasure — about the coming presidential election being a rerun of the Trump/Biden battle of 2020. But it’s not.
The displeasure on the Republican side is based mainly on the fear that certainly some portion of Trump’s ninety-one felony charges in four different states are bound to have a negative impact on voter enthusiasm for their candidate. On the Democratic side, age is a major concern to be overcome, with fears that any minor slip up by Biden could be easily used and blown out of proportion by Trump and his MAGA cohorts, leaving voters to view Biden as too old for another term as president.
But Biden has something going for him this time that he didn’t have before — a new way to twist the knife, sometimes with humor — via his alter ego — Dark Brandon.
As you may remember, Dark Brandon, President Biden’s cooler, laser-eyed internet alter ego, originally started out as a right-wing slogan, “Let’s Go Brandon,” that was actually coded to stand in for “Fuck Joe Biden.”
